Limited edition 3DS and new bundles for Monster Hunter Tri-G coming to Japan (click for larger images).
The “Monster Hunter Tri-G Special Pack” includes a copy of the game, as well as an Ice White 3DS with a red design of Tri-G’s flagship monster Bracchidios. It will sell for ¥20,800 ($271) starting December 10, and will not include the 3DS Expansion Slide Pad for some reason.
The other bundle is just the game and the 3DS Expansion Slide Pad, priced at ¥6,990 ($91). I know these converted prices sound crazy high, but that’s due to the strong yen. And the bundles also being expensive.

A Daruma doll is a Japanese round figurine that is in the image of the Buddhist monk that founded Zen Buddhism. At this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Capcom created an enormous Daruma molded after the Monster Hunter cat “felyne”.
An enormous felyne Daruma sits in the middle of a large pavilion in the Capcom booth. Japan, here is your Monster Hunter overlord!

While there are monsters to hunt, Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Felyne Village is more of a simulation. The goal of this game is to experience life as a Felyne and expand the village. Think something like Animal Crossing meets Monster Hunter for the PSP.

The Event Quests in Monster Hunter Tri have already started, giving you a chance to get some new weapons and armor. Today I’m highlighting a little quest that gives one of the craziest lances in the game. The quest, “Alluring Dress” is a bit deceiving. You see, the goal is simply to slay 30 sharqs (spelled with a “q” cuz we’re cool or something). Awesome right?
