Tattoo Artist Magazine have an excellent article on their blog by Guen Douglas.
It starts out discussing plagiarism in the industry, and how it can be combated. It’s mostly addressing artists, but we as collectors have some responsibility as well.
Which ties into the second half of the article, a comprehensive set of tips to get the most out of your artist when creating a custom piece for you.
This will help them perform the kind of magic Guen has done here, turning the customers simplistic sketch into a gorgeous custom piece.
